I prefer knowing when a post is sponsored. But, I’ve also noticed you can tell by the person’s voice / presentation of the product it is being sponsored. I appreciate your ethics in picking products you truly believe in. Because you can also tell when it’s just for $$$ cause I’ve noticed the unbridled enthusiasm disappears as they try to hit all the key points a sponsor wants in their video. I don’t think of it as selling out when people present sponsored products. You gotta make a living and if you can do it on TikTok, great for you. The haters are the people jealous of your success and calling you a sell out. Continue doing what you do, I enjoy your videos and enjoy seeing you find new spots and the ones I already know about and agree with 😁

100% agree that if you’re sponsored (even while being honest), as long as it says sponsored I think it’s perfectly fine. I understand people deserve to be paid for their time, and especially if it’s some large corporation that wants your time

Your videos are awesome and I love the way you disclose things. And you should be compensated for your time and distribution to the audience you worked hard to build. As a viewer it’s really tiresome when every single product/restaurant is the best ever because the honest truth is they aren’t. But your criticism always comes in a way that’s respectful and not trashing a place, just recognizing when something may not be the thing for you. Keep it up!

My husband and I love your transparency. Your reviews are genuine and authentic and refreshing. We appreciate how you’re real about the sponsor and share exactly what your experience is, whether good or not your fav. You never put any business down either. Keep going!

for me it’s more about ethics right. if a dinner place is sponsored i wanna know cause there’s preferred treatment and the food will be presented better for media. and also if they’re always saying things are good it makes me wonder if they really like it or it’s just for $$

Just shows that a lot of the general public can't combine common sense and critical thinking before they open their mouths.

if you're an influencer and have an established following then it's acceptable but if you're just hired to be a content creator or a UGC creator for the brand to make a video for them to post on their socials accounts or run it as an ad, you don't have to disclose it and unless u genuinely believe in their products.
