I went with a friend on Friday so we could grieve the loss of the Streets of Old Milwaukee and European Village. It really is tragic that they are destroying our history 😭

this used to be for tour guides in the 80s. in the 90s they moved it to public reach and early 2000s to where the button is today.

This summer I had the joy of walking past a family with a young boy who was discovering this diorama for the first time. His excitement/fear about if the snake was real or not was so infectious. 🥰 he squeeled and screamed out to his mom "Gahhh it's a rattle snake!"
