@corbinneville84: Been working on integrating my communications equipment into my Crossfire DZ LBE. I’m running a BTECH UV-PRO connected to my Ops-Core AMP headset through a Disco32 U-94 PTT, alongside a Motorola Moto G Power 2026 running ATAK. The EUD is mounted to a custom holder attached to an assault pouch I purpose-built for this setup. The goal was to keep my communications equipment accessible without sacrificing the load-bearing and sustainment capabilities of the DZ harness. The UV-PRO’s ATAK integration is what makes this particularly interesting to me. There are a lot of possibilities for incorporating radio communications and digital situational awareness into an entirely man-portable setup. Whether you’re interested in military-style communications, emergency preparedness, or operating independently of cellular infrastructure, there’s a lot worth experimenting with here.
