I stopped every morning for a cake pop just to get my son to go to daycare tear free … he’s in 6th grade now, he still ask for cake pops 😂 🤦🏻♀️

This is a good idea with daycare or potty training. IDC if someone wants to gift their child each time they go to school/daycare. That's their business. Most people say things like that because they can't afford to gift daily. Nobody told them to tho. 😂

She is not going to have any intrinsic drive to do things just because it’s right and feels good to make good choices . It will always be, what’s in it for me, I deserve something tangible… all the time. Kinda miserable for her in the long run. While you say you can do what you want, you can, but will you always be there to reward her? Kinda need to consider what you are really doing for her and setting her up for some miserable expectations My opinion after working with children for decades.

I really don’t give a shit what people say there is always going to be a hater or someone telling you how to raise you kids. My son get an incentive at the end of the week if he keeps all his grades up and no missing assignments he gets to choose. If he doesn’t follow through with his end he doesn’t get it we talk about what he could do better. It’s honestly been a game changer

People project things because it’s not always possible for them to do the same. I often have to check myself for similar initial thoughts until I sit on it and realize it’s jealousy talking or the feeling of inadequacy.
