@treehousechicks: YOUNG vs MATURE coconuts welcome back my friends! episode 3 of coocoo for coconuts! today im gonna show you a popper tool and how to tell if a coconut is young enough to use it!! young coconuts - we call these coconuts "poppers" because we can POP the TOP off and open just to get the water out. sometimes the coconuts are so young that no meat has formed inside yet and the shell is not super hard yet. sometimes they do have a little bit of meat - jelly meat - this meat is thin, sweet, and is floppy!! good for snacking but NOT good for making coconut milk or oil. i hope you learn something from this video! if so like share and save it 😉 mahalos #treehousechicks #coconutschool #popper #youngcoconut #tools
