@niceisthenewtoxic: Some men will spend YEARS using, disrespecting, manipulating, and hurting people, then wonder why romantic relationships keep falling apart, opportunities disappear, and fewer people want anything to do with them. Somehow, the explanation is always that people are jealous, intimidated, bitter, or simply don't want to see them succeed. Usually, the truth is NONE of those things. Good people simply grow tired of being mistreated, lied to, disrespected, and expected to move forward without so much as an honest acknowledgment of the damage that's been done. Often, the few people they manage to keep around are the very ones who defend and enable their terrible behavior. They may consider those people the only “solid ones” who have their backs, never realizing that those same people are actually helping to keep them stuck. Constantly defending someone's behavior and shielding them from accountability can make it easier for them to avoid the very self-examination they need to grow and reach their greatest potential. Sometimes, the people around you are more comfortable with you feeling small, needing their approval, and constantly pouring into them. Not everyone who enjoys being needed by you is equally invested in seeing you grow beyond needing them. It’s especially sad when neither person recognizes how unhealthy that dynamic has become, or how unhealthy its foundation was from the start. You can spend your entire life isolating yourself or changing your circle, but if you never examine how you treat people, especially the ones YOU THINK you have nothing to gain from, you'll keep experiencing the SAME PROBLEMS with DIFFERENT FACES. Not everybody who walks away from you is jealous of you, intimidated by you, or threatened by your potential. Sometimes they've simply experienced enough of your CHARACTER, or lack thereof, to know they no longer want to be associated with you or the damage you continue to cause without remorse. #noremorse #takeaccountability #avoidantattachmentstyle #personalgrowthjourney #creatorsearchinsights

If you collect Social Security, understanding how much of your benefit is taxable can help you plan for retirement taxes and avoid surprises. Start with your SSA-1099, calculate half of your benefits, and add your other income to determine your provisional income. Remember, up to 85% of your Social Security benefit may be taxable, but that doesn’t mean you pay an 85% tax rate. Qualified Roth withdrawals generally don’t count toward provisional income, which is one reason tax diversification can be valuable in retirement.
