they are manifesting because tourists prefer to pay for an airbnb (that used to be somebody’s house) than for a hotel. Because young people can’t afford rent, and many similar reasons, so do NOT rent an airbnb if you go to visit a place

Please if you visit Barcelona or any other place please stay at a Hotel, do NOT rent an Airbnb or a flat, because by doing this you take the oportunity to locals to rent a place where to live or to be near to work or universities.
