me as the cashier having to think if I actually scanned all the items, see if ur doing cash or card looking for the button then having to count how much money u gave me and give u the exact change back or round then having to put the 15 items u brought carefully in your bag without it ripping and if im missing smth that I need to wrap or not, find a serciuity tag or sticker and hope I didnt miss one to save u and myself the embarrassment of the loud beeping. then give u ur receipt while I also have the line waiting for me

as a cashier, take your time, girl 🩷 everyone can wait a few extra seconds for you to get your bearings. we all need some grace :) also, you’re not paying with a check so you already have a step above those folks, timeliness wise 😭

I always do this WHEN the customer is being rude otherwise I tell my customer(s) to take their time otherwise everything will get lost or stuck in the purse or wallet it’s HORRIBLE 💔.

My mom took her time to put everything away right there and it always made me anxious, but now that I’m older, I understand wanting to just do it right the first time and not have to reorganize later 😭😂

Bless your heart. I used to get all panicky but not anymore. The cashiers are usually done by the time I get my last item out of the cart. And then a lot of times I have to put my bagged groceries back in the cart to go to the car, so people will just have to wait.
