Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Excellence in Career Enrichment Leadership (ExCEL) Committee invites mid- to late-stage postdoctoral researchers nationwide to apply for the 2027 ExCEL Scholars Award Competition before the deadline of November 16, 2026. Selected scholars get the opportunity to network and present their research at a March 15, 2027, symposium at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Research should align with one of the Cancer Center’s core research program areas: • Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis • Stem Cell and Cancer Biology • Cancer Therapeutics • Cancer Epidemiology, Prevention & Control Applicants must be postdoctoral researchers working in U.S. laboratories who have never held an independent investigator position.
