When I was a teenager 1980’s, we would go movie jumping all day, jumping to the next movie on the schedule. They knew what we were doing, but they didn’t care. We bought popcorn, pop, candy so they made a profit.

One time I got there at 10 and left 12hrs later bc I just kept asking for the next one every time a movie was done. Had a great nap during the Thor with Hulk then watched it again. Those were the days.

I worked at a one screen theater when I was in high school. We had a list of interactions like this. We frequently got calls asking us when the midnight show started. 🤦🏻♀️

After 16 years of working at a theater, I was also confused on what she was asking. Consider my flabbers gasted. We don’t have a specific policy against it, but if it became disruptive I would ask them to stick to 1 movie and refund the other tickets. If they refused I would refund all 3 and ask them to leave.

worked at a theatre for 6 years. this guy Mike would buy a ticket and watch the first half of a movie, get bored, finish a different movie. and then 3 days later but a ticket to the second movie to watch the first half and then leave to go finish the first one. wild.

Honestly I don't think it would be too disruptive if they were in a spot by the door. That doesn't solve the why of it though. You know those lists of things like taking a glass of water on a walk with you that aren't illegal but feel like they should be? This needs to be added
