Let it interview you and write CLAUDE.md, the file it reads every time it starts. Know the difference: an automation repeats steps, an agent decides them. Write the scope: it reads, it never sends, it never deletes. Turn the job into a skill, written down once. Connect only the tools it needs (Gmail and Google Calendar). Set permissions: allow reading, ask before sending, deny deleting. Put it on a schedule, every weekday at 7. Then watch it for a week. When it gets something wrong, fix the skill, not the output.
