I always tell my tellers, if you can’t call them up to the window by their name, you need to ask for ID. They will be mad at you for asking for ID and they will be mad if something happens to their account where you didn’t ask for ID. Our job is to protect them.

I always tell my trainee’s if you can’t pick these customers out of a huge crowd then you need to get their ID.

I get that all the time!! I'm like I do not know you!! one time I asked a client for their id for verification... then he goes "well let me see your id" If I could slap someone that day....boiiii he was gonna get it😅😅😅

We had somebody forget their id and basically say they were giving the person one more time to id them and they still couldn’t so they left and came back with they id and close their account 😭🤣

the only downside to showing ID at the bank is you have to pull it out of your wallet. the upside to showing your ID at the bank is that the bank is not going to give your money to anyone who claims to be you. you can either have secure accounts or hide your ID. actually that's not true. youre going to have secure accounts and you can either happily give your ID so we can get your transaction completed and get you back to your day or you can complain and argue for 10 minutes and still have to show ID or get no money.
