I’m moving apartments and relying hard on my meds, it’s so hard to move forward when the main task is done but there are a million tiny ones to deal with as well

I got put on 60mg of Ritalin a day as a teenager and the meds made me a an absolute shell of a human, no personality, no appetite, terrible sleep. Turns out I was exhibiting symptoms of CPTSD but was misdiagnosed instead with ADHD

adderall was terrible for me so we are trying a non stimulant adhd medication to see if it helps the adhd without interacting with my heart condition or headache condition

I didn’t even realize that my vyvanse could be the reason my personality changed. I was diagnosed right before Covid so I thought isolation was the reason I felt like I lost myself. 😳

Oh no. Fellow ADHD girly here, I have inattentive ADHD. I made my partner swear to tell me if my personality changed on meds. I am on Vyvanse and the only thing I have noticed on it is my attention is way longer. Sometimes I miss time jumping but I am able to get so much more done in a day without losing hours.

I think definitely try different meds! It shouldn’t be changing your personality and have you not feeling like yourself! I’m on vyvanse and just feel more focused

i have been taking 30mg ER for about 4yrs. It really can change depending on the kind of med you got and all that. I have found that I take it at 8am and by 5pm i can hear all my thoughts again and then i get extremely tired and just feel like a bus hit me. i also start to get irritated a lot more. Then i remember i haven’t eaten all day

Can I take a crazy shot and ask if you have ever thought about hiring a personal assistant? It could help relieve a lot of stress regarding the non-creative aspects of being a business owner/content creative requires as well personal stuff like organizing the studio or your apartment and appointments or travel plans. Sorry if I'm overstepping, just a long time fan and personal assistant who loves to help people!
