Was it casual when we were practically acting like we were together and you made me feel safer than anyone else ever has, but the second things started getting official you got scared and blamed it on "right person, wrong time" just so you could walk away without feeling guilty? Like you really sat there and let me fall for you knowing damn well you weren't ready to actually commit, and then you just left me behind to clean up the mess you made in my head. Now i'm just supposed to pretend like you didn't completely change my world and act like we were just some meaningless little phase that didn't matter. It's honestly so exhausting because you knew exactly what you were doing when you rewired my entire routine around you and made me depend on your energy. You can't just give someone that level of consistency and make them feel that special just to pull the rug out from under them the second it gets a little too real for you. I'm literally stuck here trying to unlove someone who didn't even have the guts to stay and try, and it hurts so bad realizing that while i was out here envisioning a whole future with you, you were just treating me like a temporary stop along the way.
