Recovery IS hard and IS the hardest thing you’ll do. It IS worth it, that I can promise. I just celebrated 14 yrs on Oct 4th. You CAN do it. You ARE worth more than what you’re putting yourself through. There IS someone out there for you, I promise. I didn’t date for TEN yrs waiting for God to bring me my husband. After an abusive relationship, I knew I had to wait for God’s timing. This will pass, that’s another thing I can promise. Feel the feelings and move on. Don’t SIT in those feelings. You got this, keep going. One day at a time, one minute at a time. I’m cheering for you. You are worth being in recovery and having a better life.

Download and do zoom meetings if you can’t get to an in person one. Take in all these feelings whether you want to or not. It hurts I know, but this will help you learn how to cope with hard times without alcohol. You have got this dude! Always here to be a listening ear!

Heavenly father please bless Nick with your presence and comfort. Show him the way through this season, and let him know there is glory at the end of this road, Amen. Nick you got this, day 6 is a big accomplishment and I have faith that you can keep going.
