I’ve had a cricut and a silhouette, I 1000% recommend the silhouette. You can do so much more with it.

Freezer paper is great for stencils you can print onto it directly and then iron it onto your fabric and peel off when you’re done!

I have a cricut maker 2, but I've heard the silhouettes are more versatile and not locked into software the same way the cricuts are
