It's not just about election results, American political system is obviously flawed - too much power given to one person; the main point of a democracy is exactly avoiding that in order to avoid authoritarian rule. US clearly lack checks and balances, it's ineffective, prone to failure and becoming a dictatorship. To be trusted ever again their whole political system must be rebuilt, preferably becoming a parliamentary one, pretty much like that of Germany - parliamentary republic with large degree of federalisation / power of separate states.

We also have ro build guardrails so this cant happen again. We cant afford another narcissistic president to come in and tear down the barriers between the three branches of government and their checks and balances. The supreme court and DOJ has become extensions of the presidents will rather than organizations that have the best interest of America and its peopels.
