I changed my hair and makeup stylist a week before my wedding and they did a fantastic job! My hair was a mess and they fit me in last minute for a color correction.

Last time I got my hair done it was with a new stylist who is starting her career (been working in a chair less than a year. Graduated not long ago) and I told her to have fun and do whatever she wanted lol. She asked if I was sure, I said yes and that I have no preference because I didn’t know if I wanted to go lighter or darker (I’ve done both and debated both too heavily). She said I was the first client to tell her to do whatever she wanted. She did an AMAZING job! I loved it 😊

This is totally something I would do. If I look bad I look bad. If you’re invited to my wedding you’ve probably seen me in worse stages than a bad haircut or a bad color.

Yeah, I had a complete crash out the day before my wedding. Had it cut shoulder length and colored it very blonde. Told no one what I was doing. Showed up to the rehearsal with new hair and very concerned friends.

I went to a hair school 2 days before my wedding! it was the only day of the week students could take appointments and that day all the water in the city shut off while I had bleach in my hair! All the students and teachers were freaking out and it was kinda funny ngl. They ended up running to Walmart to get jugs of water to rinse me [Tears of joy]

My usual stylist got sick the week before my wedding. Like emergency trip to the hospital and immediate surgery sick. Luckily, she shared a salon with a close friend that was watching her do my hair trial and my stylist has all her clients formulas written down 😆 so before wedding got my hair dyed again and then day of wedding she did my hair styling

Wait women don’t develop a whole relationship with their hair dresser for years before doing big changes or events?! My longest relationships except my ex-husband has been hair dressers. Longest was 6 years (she passed away) and shortest 3 years (my current one).

We used to set up for grooms parties to get cuts and shaves the morning of the wedding. We'd get a banquet license so they could drink champagne and keep board games and stuff around so they had things to do while they waited. it was a lot of fun.
