yesss I love how you added wwx side too!! his resentment towards core transfer even tho it was his own choice!! I LOVE IT SM!! wwx has too much repressed resentment towards jc which even he himself doesn't really face it's one of my favorite things in their dynamic, they just so manyy flavors I can never get enough of them

ale :

Such incredible art!! I really love when people discuss/explore wwx’s side of resentment towards jc, be it from the golden core transfer or their eventual true fallout after jyl’s death. I never understand when people say wwx wouldnt have cared about the truth behind jc’s missing golden core because just as jc’s life was turned upside down and pushed into a spiral after finding out that wwx has prioritized /him/ before anything else, wwx would definitely also be torn up and crashes if he finds out jc has once prioritized /him/ before anything else too—his parents, his sect, his sister, his revenge. That the reason wwx had to give up his core in the first place, resort to wayward cultivation, and suffer through everything he did, was because jc lost his protecting him—the exact reason jc kept quiet about his end. He knows just as the truth behind his revived gc ruined him, the truth behind his lost one will wholly ruin wwx too. Even after everything, they still love each other so much that they’d keep their respective secrets to death to spare the other the pain of knowing :’)) both sacrificing their entire being for each other without a single thought but so, so unwilling to let the other know
