I shop online daily, and weekends are when I really kick it into high gear, visiting estate sales, flea markets, antique shops, and anywhere else I might find something interesting. Do we need more inventory? Absolutely not! Between our estate buyouts and consignments, we have more than enough coming in. But I love the hunt. I love finding something special, recognizing its potential, and figuring out how to give it a new life. And the number one thing I'm ALWAYS looking for? PICTURE FRAMES! Antique frames, gilt frames, carved frames, unusual frames. I can never seem to have enough of them. Today I found this beautiful pair of antique carved gilt frames, and the best part? I already had the perfect paintings waiting for them! Sometimes the frame is just as interesting as the artwork itself, and pairing the right painting with the right frame can completely transform both. So now I'm curious. When you're out antiquing, thrifting, or visiting estate sales, what's the one thing you can never pass up? What are you ALWAYS looking for?
