@foxweather: MISSING AT SEA 🌊: A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a research vessel that drifted away while monitoring a harmful algal bloom in the Gulf of Maine. The autonomous SeaTrac was tracking an algal bloom that can deplete oxygen as it decays, creating stressful or deadly conditions for shellfish, marine worms and other bottom-dwelling organisms. Satellite imagery shows broad green and turquoise swaths across the Gulf of Maine.
