You cannot pay a credit card with another credit card. Prove me wrong

i've had the same 4 cards for almost 20 years with an 820 score, opening new ones is a terrible idea

Since part of you score is based on open number of accounts, this is not true.

My grandmother actually did this for a long time! Though she eventually lost her home to foreclosure. It catches up to you eventually.

I have a 849 credit score, I pay off my credit cards monthly and the only debt I have is my mortgage.

unused credit lines actually count against your credit. this is made-up BS

Not to mention the minimum transfer fees and other fees when taking advantage of those offers. I call BS.

Highly doubt this is true. Credit inquiries and age of credit line are huge contributors to your score. Constant inquiries and new accounts damage your score not help it. This is made up slop.

Theres no way if this guys got 180 cards, 2 houses, 6 cars, and 3 university degrees on those cards also and hasent paid them that balance would be in the high hundreds of thousands and when you get a new card you can’t just move all ur debt to it it’s depends on the balance of the card and even then you can’t use up the entire balance so if the new card balance is $1000 you can only transfer $750 to that card😂😂

Tried this had 40k spending credit but banks flagged me as a risk and lowered all my credit card limits and that f my credit score went from 780 to 630 and the ones I had balances on that I was paying went over 30% so now no one will lend me anything because I look horrible on paper but I had no late payments had 10 cards open less than 10% utilization high limits all my hard work and credibility changed over night 🥲

Credit score is based off a few metrics. From most impactful to least impactful, they are: Payment History, Credit Age, Utilization, # of accounts. If he had said that he hasn’t paid interest on a balance in 15 years, I might believe that but you can’t just roll and roll and roll without it negatively affecting credit score. Also, banks don’t keep your accounts open for years and years if you’re not using the account unless it’s a secure credit account.

This is an obvious lie. Applying for new credit lowers your score. 850 is a perfect score. If you are always applying there is no way it’s 850.

Fbk1975 :
850 isn't that great of a credit score if you're consciously trying to have a good one. When I went to buy my house mine was 960 and I'd never even looked at it before. I had previously taken out credit and paid it all off, plus I incidentally had some of the other things that boost your score like being registered to vote. But I'd never really thought about it. I'd be fuming if I'd spent years trying to cultivate a credit score and finished with 850.
