Acting as if Russia wouldn’t actually do all that if they could. I mean they’re already invading Ukraine in an attempt to take back Soviet nations. The only reason they haven’t invaded Poland either is cus it’s part of NATO.

Archer and makarov are Russian ultranationalists which are a separate force from the Russian govt. The entire story is about them tricking Russia into war with America + the west because they think Russia will win and be the global superpower. I mean for god sake they even pretend in og MW2 like the Russian president is a nice reasonable man with a lovely daughter.
