The filing doesn't explain the names or accuse her of fraud, and she hasn't been charged with anything. Meanwhile, a Minnesota TV station dug up her junior-year yearbook. The name under her photo at 17? Ilhan Omar. "My name has always been Ilhan Omar," she wrote, before telling Trump to worry about "what your VP's real name is." Ouch. Somebody check on JD Vance, because apparently having a different name at some point is now a resigning offense. The rest of it is uglier. Up to 25 federal agents searched her DC home in a probe of her family's paperwork from 1995, when they fled Somalia. Reports say it's part of an effort to strip her citizenship. Immigration experts say the government faces a high bar to prove fraud. So the president is trying to deport a sitting congresswoman over forms filed when she was a child refugee. Ted Cruz, JD Vance and Nikki Haley all go by different names than the ones they were born with, and nobody's demanding they resign. Somehow it's only a crisis for Omar.
