my kids always make me feel guilty for everything that happens in their lives. my younger son uses the grand babies as weapons when he gets mad. I love my kids and absolutely head over heels for my granddaughters. It hurts so bad to be treated like this, but have no one to talk to and no resolution.

I've never thought of myself as broken. I've been terribly bent, bruised and betrayed by those closest to me. The only thing that hasn't been lost, stolen or repossessed is my sense of humor and faith in God. I found out that you're never totally safe- not in your home in your own bed by someone you've known over 20 years. I was drugged, strangled and sexually assaulted the night I told my husband of 21 years that I wanted a divorce. I 'sleep' ( I wish )facing the door. What saved me eventually, was a big black stray dog on a rainy night. She showed up on my porch. I brought her in and made a bed on the floor next to my bed for her. I slept 4 hours straight that night. First time in over a year that I slept that long.
