Had no issues. Built an amazing community with friends from real life and tiktok. we had seven people rotating through raids in teams of four. We had communication and called it when you needed to heal and when not to. While I understand that’s not possible for everyone, they are hard for a reason. Communication is a big key here and it is hard when people are doing Remote and random people. We were able to carry people from our community as the fourth. But I’m not saying, I disagree, just saying with good organisation it is definitely possible. also agree about the three hour rule was kind of crap. And I do enjoy when it’s 20 people because it’s good fun.

Don’t get me wrong, I like that Max Battles require some actual strategy and thought instead of just mindlessly tapping like raid battles. Preparing an appropriate team of tanks, healers, swapping into your attackers during the Dynamax phase and timing it etc. I just think 4 people for legendary max battles is too low. At the very least, make it 8-10 people per lobby for legendary max battles, that way you’re a lot safer if people back out last second, glitch out or if some people simply don’t bring in the best counters for whatever reason. I also think it shouldn’t take a remote raid pass until you actually WIN the battle. That way if your game crashes mid battle or your group simply fails, you may have wasted some time, but it doesn’t actually take your remote raid pass which is incredibly reassuring. Which would mean less people would be jumping out last second too, knowing even if they fail, passes don’t get consumed.

The limit of 4 is awful. You shouldn’t need the best team out there to win, just a GOOD team and a decent amount of players. It doesn’t make sense to allow 20 or more players in every single other type of legendary raid then expect 4 to do it *with fewer Pokémon to choose from*

You shouldn't lose the remote pass if you fail. Other than that and low catch rates they are fine. I think the limit of 4 is better because it allows small communities to complete the battle without passes. If it was 20, they would likely scale up the health and small communities would likely be forced to use remotes as people would leave lobbies if there was only 5 trainers

Hot take, I like that it's hard and you can't just stack a bunch of people and beat it down with quantity over quality. The 4 man limit makes it a real battle. I don't want Scopely to make group sizes bigger just because some people grief

This is why i dont dmax battle. Its like starting the game all over again, catching all new Pokemon and powering them up just for this and learning a whole new strategy for battling them.
