You’ve been meditating wrong. ⠀ You can’t just sit still when there’s fight or flight in the body. Or freeze. ⠀ The energy is stuck. Sitting on top of it doesn’t move it. ⠀ You either dissociate and leave the body. Or you spiral into overthinking, agitation, frustration. Stuck in your head. ⠀ Move the energy first. Activate the body. Clear what’s stuck. ⠀ Then you can meditate. ⠀ Real meditation is being present in the body. Feeling the energy. Not running. Not retreating to the brain. ⠀ Just being with what’s there. ⠀ The full breathwork is on my Skool. ⠀ Comment “breathe” and I’ll send you the link. #breathwork #somatics #nervoussystem #meditation #embodiment
