I had mine break 2 years ago on a 9670, I had to replace the gear also. dumbest part is you have to wire a new pigtail on the new motor. not a bad fix.

Saw a guy duct tape the box end of wrench onto the worm gear there and he just moved it as he needed lol. Pretty redneck
