However, we also have to admit that Kishimoto went overboard with Sarada's story. He made Sasuke look stupid for not recognizing his own daughter, and Sakura look stupid because she didn’t remember that an Uchiha doesn’t wear glasses. He only did it to make Sarada doubt things, but honestly, I don’t think they would ever have done that.

I’m starting to not mind Sasusaku, but I feel like at some point Sakura was definitely not assertive of her marriage. The entire point of gaiden surrounded this, so blatantly ignoring it makes your clause ineffective and just wrong. When Sarada asked if Sasuke wore glasses and then asked if they were truly married;Sakura hit the ground with an unruly force and broke her entire rental home. Another thing to note is that it had the Uchiha crest plastered everywhere which really reflect Sakuras mindset. It shows her insecurity and how she depends on symbols to remind herself that he is still somewhat with her. Retsuden does make up for this, but let’s not act like it didn’t exist at some point especially when it was Kishimoto who wrote gaiden. He reflect his own ideas of sasusaku on gaiden and it was so messy considering everything with Karin, and retsuden was written by someone completely different. In conclusion, Sakura wasn’t assertive the entire time.

I do believe they both found thier peace this way ❤️❤️Sasuke and Sakura neither is perfect but they function well together, we shouldn't project what an " our perfect ending " could be like. They fit well together after everything that happened in the story, she's his new purpose after the new void and new home and permanent groundning ,and he is what keeps her strong by always looking up and free and heals her low self-esteem and takes her away from the "authority pleaser" she was once as kid. I love them together, they are so realistic as a family together.
