Kaugnay ito sa patuloy na paghahanap kay Sen. Bato matapos nitong magtago nang siya ay isyuhan ng warrant of arrest ng International Criminal Court (ICC) noong Nobyembre 2025. Sa isang X post na ibinahagi ni Sen. Ping nitong Linggo, Oktubre 25, idiniin din niyang “entitled” ang mambabatas sa due process. “Senator Ronald dela Rosa is my Senate colleague, a former subordinate in the PNP, and a fellow PMA Cavalier,” saad ni Sen. Ping. Aniya, “I sincerely hope and pray that should his arrest take place sooner or later, it will be carried out peacefully, without violence or tragedy.” “He has his faults, as we all do. But whatever accusations he faces, he is entitled to due process, a fundamental right guaranteed to every Filipino, and for that matter, to every human being,” pagpapatuloy ni Sen. Ping.
