I think OCD is like you making sure the stove is off three times before you walk out the door. It’s obsessive behavior that is repeated. Like being organized and meticulous, or having a perfectly staged kitchen to me isn’t OCD. I think it’s more of a trauma response because it’s something that she can control in her environment.

This isn't the OCD that's problematic. Having to knock 3 times is..... weird (Sheldon Cooper lol), having to eat certain foods with only one specific type of utensil is strange, having to sit in a seat facing northeast only is....odd 😂 but being organized by certain systems like a color system is standard. Anyone who's worked retail has had to organize that way lol.

Being clean and organised isn’t the problem -the problem is when anything gets out of place and it interferes with your normal day-to-day functioning- that’s the issue with OCD- for example, people checking if their door is locked 10 times before they leave the house- so much so that sometimes they can’t even leave
