Start with street brawls. Learn the characters, movement, and items (the basics). Then start doing either standard or bot matches. Learn builds (and why they work), counter-buying, map knowledge, and macro (maximizing the efficiency of how you earn souls/money). This will take time, but anyone can do it.

Honestly playing a moba game prior to deadlock, you don’t know what to do no matter what. Even if you played deadlock first and then went to league of legends, you won’t know what’s going on, vice versa. Dota 2 even worse, best advice is either search up videos on the characters you wanna play and see how they’re meant to be played or just blindly play the game over and over until you learn naturally

I just recently started playing and it’s my first MOBA. Luckily I have a friend group who got me to play so I don’t have to go through the public shaming for learning phase. It’s certainly an experience though “Do…do I stay on my lane or go over here”, “what the hell is a rift”, “Get the vase!” “The what?”. Luckily after a few rounds of being smeared on pavement I’ve learned to finally pull back and what to kinda prioritize.
