@our.waterside.home: We’ve had so many questions about the solar lights on our timber batten screen since sharing our garden bed, so here’s the answer! We wanted the lights to be a feature, but didn’t want the added cost of running electricity out to the screen. So, we had a browse through the lighting section at Bunnings and came across these solar powered LED wave glass effect lights from Arlec. We love the ripple effect they create on the screen, and the solar panel is hidden on top, so you barely notice it. They were super easy to install by following the instructions in the box, and they automatically switch on at dusk and run for around 6–8 hours. An easy, low maintenance way to add a little something extra to the garden without running power.
