The Toyota Camry hybrid uses the opposite. Your last tank acts like a reserve to save your gas pump. Which is really a good idea for those who constantly put gas when the needle is too low

my truck does this and it’s so annoying, pretty much know once the needle starts to move, time to get gas cause once it’s moving is GOES it feels like 💀

I once bought a suburban with the 454 motor and 40gal, fuel tank. It came with a full tank and stayed on full for days. I thought this isn’t so bad until it started moving like a snowball down a hill. When it got to a 1/4 you could almost see the needle move.
