I can’t watch the video. I made the mistake of reading the investigation. It is jaw dropping. Every staff member that child encountered that day failed her. I cannot believe they did not call 911 right away and assumed she wasn’t chocking when she COULD NOT TALK. What adult working with children doesn’t know that if you can’t talk, you probably can’t breath!! 911 should have been called right away. Adults should have ran to get the nurse and the nurse running to the child, who never should have left the cafeteria without paramedics. The other children should have been moved. Even if a child left my classroom TELLING me that they thought they were going to throw up, I would send another student to walk with them with a trash can, and call the nurse to make sure they arrived safely, and I taught middle school. I just do not understand how it took them so long to call 911.

This makes me want to push for laws to be passed in schools that parents see demonstrated potential issues their children can encounter and what their training and protocol is for all things! Because if the officials won’t do something about it then we the people need to make sure they do

when working in schools a lot of the time you can see how careless people can be how you realize they have no sympathy to care for those babies and realize why they keep coming back to work at this school a lot of the time only because its a easy free check if they have no humanities and love or care for those babies just go home this video impact me soo bad my heart hurts for this baby and her family that teacher needs to be let go and charge because her careless responsibilities took a life it wasn't fair for her to even had to go through the despret feeling seeking for air #justice needs to be served
