@sophiehateyouihateyou2: “it was necessary.” cr art: Linessence34615, @linessence on X/TT #tsaritsa #anastasyafeodorovnasnezhnaya #fatui #edit #GenshinImpact You can defend the Tsaritsa all you want by saying that she was originally a good person and going, “What do you mean? Have you not read Tartaglia’s description of the Tsaritsa? The Shivada Jade Gemstone lore???”, and I’ll just laugh, because I have read them. And what you can understand from them is that the Tsaritsa turned herself from a gentle person into a cruel one to stand against Celestia. She became so hardened that she was willing to step over corpses, created the Fatui, and had no qualms about people dying. That’s the image HoYo created: a once-loving, compassionate person who, after enduring countless hardships, grew bitter and resentful toward the world. Even if her methods go against the gentler parts of her nature, she acts as though she doesn’t care. “It’s a necessary sacrifice to achieve the goal.” So stop feeding me bullshit and telling me that the Tsaritsa isn’t contradicting her own character right now. And when she said that line about children, I practically fell out of my chair laughing. HoYo, sweetheart, learn how to lie more convincingly and do a better job of it already.
