@breaking_footballnews: 💣🚨 Michael Carrick sends a defiant message to Manchester United fans calling for his sacking, insisting he is here to stay and determined to restore the club to its former glory. 🔴 🎙️ Michael Carrick: I know some fans want me gone, and I understand their frustration. Manchester United is a club that should be winning trophies, competing for the biggest titles, and making its supporters proud. But I did not come here to walk away when things get difficult. I came here because I believe this club can return to where it belongs. I played here, I won trophies here, and I know what this badge means to millions of people around the world. I refuse to accept that Manchester United should become a club that celebrates finishing fourth or qualifying for the Champions League as if that is the ultimate achievement. People can question my decisions, criticise my tactics, and demand my sacking. That is football, and I accept the pressure that comes with this job. “But let me make one thing clear: I am not here to protect my reputation. I am here to rebuild Manchester United. I want to bring back the fear that opponents used to have when they came to Old Trafford. I want our fans to expect trophies again, not excuses. I cannot promise that everything will change overnight, but I can promise that I will fight for this club with everything I have. Manchester United’s glory days must return, and I want to be the manager who leads this club back to the top.#manchesterunited #carrick
