How can a king sleep peacefully while his own people are suffering, being driven off their ancestral land, oppressed, and denied justice yet he chooses silence? What is the purpose of cultural leadership if it cannot stand with its people when they are hurting the most? A crown should represent responsibility, not just status. A throne should be a symbol of service, not a comfortable seat from which to watch people suffer.
