🚨I already know what some of y'all gonna say... @bartalkbruno took this too far 👀 And if you're serious about your bourbon, you might have a point. I was mixing something that could've went left REAL quick. Mid-build I thought I messed the whole drink up. Too sweet? Maybe. Too much going on? Possibly. Then it all came together. Bourbon still punches through, fresh peach hits right behind it, and that amaretto leaves that smooth almond finish on the back end. Somehow with all that liquor in there, it goes down WAY too easy. That's why I call this one: **THE PEACH PRESSURE** **Peach Pressure Recipe** Fresh Peach Slices, 4 to 5 Bourbon, 2 oz Amaretto, 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice, 3/4 oz Simple Syrup, 1/4 oz Aromatic Bitters, 2 dashes Ice Fresh Peach Slice for garnish Add peaches and simple syrup to shaker and muddle well. Add bourbon, amaretto, lemon juice and bitters. Add ice, shake hard. Double strain over fresh ice, garnish with peach slice. Smooth, peach-forward, slightly nutty, citrusy, but the bourbon still does what bourbon supposed to do. Don't let that smoothness fool you though. That's 2 oz of bourbon plus amaretto sitting in that glass. By the time Peach Pressure taps you on the shoulder, you'll already be thinking about round two 😂 Want more drinks you can make at home?
