4 months op. I promise you nothing changes. Except there’s no more solid poop. And sometimes it happens within 10 min of eating lol

I didn’t realize how much it would impact my core. I was done with surgery probably around 6pm or so after coming in at about 11pm the night before and went home the next afternoon. I might have been overcautious about doing too much by resting for about two weeks but I was also unemployed at my mom’s house so what else was there to do lmao it took a minute to figure out the food stuff too bc they say you can eat whatever but for me, I had varying reactions to digesting certain things for a while. It’s been 5 years and I’m better at gauging things now

No pain for me. no gas pain, no pain meds needed. I was sore for about a week and that was mostly it. eating normal, no issues.

I’m 5 years post gallbladder out and I can assure you, I wish I never did it. I have issues if I eat something higher in fat, EVERY SINGLE TIME. I will say getting a nutritionist was crucial because after I had my gallbladder out, I gained like 60-70 pounds and needed severe help learning how to navigate eating. Lots of sweet potatoes with ground turkey for a long time. Simple is better STILL 5 years later. And gas x is your friend lol!

I went home as soon as I woke up. Been IBSin ever since. Doesn’t matter what I eat, Water can even trigger me 😞 I’ve all but had the symptoms stop since getting on Tirzepatide. Semaglutide didn’t have that effect on me.

Drink Gatorade with ice , eat water based gelatins, ice pops, soft fruits, and most importantly walk a lot minimum at least to the restroom then progress more walking to let go of that trapped gas to avoid the pain you may get or have.

stay close to a toilet when eating every meal. you never know what's gonna make you go. you could eat something and be fine and when you eat it again it makes you go.
