@thegrapevineedit: HISTORY MADE FOR GRAPEVINE HIGH SCHOOL BAND! 🏆 For the first time in 25 years, the Grapevine High School Mustang Band is headed to STATE! ❤️ 💙 After advancing to area finals on Saturday, the Mustangs earned 5th place at area securing their spot in the state championship for the first time since 2001! And the story gets even better: talk about a full-circle moment! The band’s director back in 2001 was Steve Andre. This year, his son, Ryan Andre, took over as director and helped lead the Mustangs back to state. How special is that?! If you saw our post early Saturday morning, you know these students had a 4 a.m. call time at the high school after performing at the football game Friday night. After an exhausting 18-hour day, their hard work, dedication and talent paid off in a HUGE way. Grapevine, let’s hear it for these students, directors and everyone who made this moment possible! 🎶👏 STATE BOUND! WAY TO GO, MUSTANG BAND! 🙌
