the 'watch TV' one made me remember there was a time when people said watching too much TV will slow ur brain and make u lose ur imagination and creativity. now think of all the content we are consuming daily, the repetitive content that pushes everyone to live the same life and have the same goals, combine that with the fact that we never get bored anymore to get lost in our imagination, everything is served to us, an artist's first move to painting is looking up pinterest, or an engeneer even.. they were right all along I hate the grey world we created 💘

I used to think society shaped media. I now believe media has always shaped society. Film and television preps you for the future they want. A great example in my opinion has been shock talk shows and reality programs. These came out in the 90s and now the White House is one.

I liked Rowdy Roddy Piper in this, HOWEVER, if they wanted to make a real blockbuster, they should've brought in a real actor! RRP hadn't acted before in his life before starring in the main role in They Live. THIS is a great movie to be remade! It had such an excellent premise!
