@user8461916368584: Gia Giudice is standing by her restaurant’s controversial policy, even as some customers question whether it could hurt the business. The 25-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey personality recently opened Il Vero, an upscale Italian-Mediterranean restaurant in Westwood, New Jersey. But the restaurant’s decision to welcome adults only for dinner after 5 p.m. has quickly sparked debate online. After negative reviews began appearing, Gia addressed the criticism in a TikTok video, explaining why she and her team made the decision. She acknowledged that some parents might be disappointed, but pointed out that Westwood already has plenty of family-friendly restaurants. Gia said she wanted Il Vero to offer something different: an elevated dining experience where adults could dress up, enjoy a special evening, and escape their usual routines. But not everyone agreed with her vision. One reviewer called the policy “ridiculous,” while another predicted the restaurant might not survive long because of the restriction. Yet the backlash has come with plenty of support, too. Some customers welcomed the idea of a restaurant designed specifically for adults, saying it would be perfect for date nights and evenings with friends. Others defended Gia’s decision, arguing that business owners should be allowed to establish their own rules. Gia also suggested that children might eventually be allowed during lunch hours, although the restaurant was not yet accepting lunch reservations at the time of her announcement. For now, Il Vero is sticking with its dinner policy, and the debate has put the new business in the spotlight just one week after opening. Should restaurants be allowed to have adults-only dinner hours, or should family-friendly dining always be an option? \#GiaGiudice #IlVero #BravoTV #RestaurantDrama #celebritynews

Love a no child restaurant because too many parents are negligent and don’t teach their kids boundaries. There needs to be more places like this and yes I’m a parent and teacher.

As a parent I would enjoy an adult dinner once in awhile. Nothing wrong with it. Wishing her and her partner a successful restaurant

Why is it ridiculous to be exclusive to adults? What you have are internet bullies whom are literally still kids themselves. Ignore the haters.

What’s sad is this is an upscale type restaurant. It shouldn’t have to be a policy I feel like this is more of an adult vibe place and I wouldn’t take my kids anyways why is this such a big deal and angering people

I wish more restaurants did this! I went to a restaurant and sat in the bar area and they still had kids in that area. Not everyone wants to hear kids screaming.
