Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes, until fork-tender. Drain well, then mash with butter, warm cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth. 2. Pat steak and shrimp dry. Season steak with salt and pepper; season shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper. 3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak in batches for about 2–3 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Add 1 tablespoon butter and half the garlic during the final 30 seconds. Transfer to a plate. 4. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter and shrimp. Cook about 2 minutes per side, until opaque, adding remaining garlic during the final 30 seconds. Remove shrimp. 5. In the same skillet, melt the sauce butter. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Pour in broth, scraping up the browned bits. Stir in cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. 6. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan until smooth. Add a splash of broth if the sauce is too thick. Taste before adding salt. 7. Spoon mashed potatoes onto plates or a serving skillet. Top with steak and shrimp, drizzle generously with sauce, and finish with bacon, green onions, and parsley. #SteakAndShrimp #GarlicButter #SurfAndTurf #MashedPotatoes #DinnerIdeas
