I use eliminator spin plates on all my feeders. Stops annoying critters, flings corn, only $40. They were $25 when I bought all of mine, but I'd pay $40.

Always had issues with anything critters could climb or some animal may knock it over, damage legs. Ended up cementing a 2" pipe in the ground. 2ft deep and 2ft sticking up. Slid a 1 1/2" pipe over the 2" so it can swing. Makes it good for shifting over SxS bed when filling the 7gl bucket. The 1 1/2" and 2" have a 3" pvc over it. Critters can't get a grip now. Been working good for 2yrs now....
