i do something similar to this by donating to rescued animals anytime I want to go to a coffee shop out of boredom, then I just make a good drink or cake at home

one thing that stops me from spending is seeing the money that I save as travel money 🤣, I be counting every money, stops all impulse buys plus products expires, memories don't wish more people realise that as they spend thousands on beauty products here and there instead of making beautiful memories
