Loved Sharna's emotional choreography and storytelling. Tyler is improving and IMO is one of the most improved although it's not actually mentioned by many. He gets lumped in with Connor and Jackson. when his technique has been better, especially in the frame dances. In this contemporary, Tyler was light on his feet for a big man (6'3") his lines were graceful, his jumps were well executed (including arabesque). and he pointed his toes. He executed all the lifts very cleanly and was very connected in his partnering.

I believe it was Val’s choreography but from interviews it was exclusively Alan for three days once Val was suspended and Val told Alan to feel free to change anything as needed!

I disagree with your ranking order of the bottom three. I feel both Julia and Jackson out-danced Connor in both skill and entertainment value. Connor seems like a sweet man, but his frame is still greatly lacking, it gives awkward.

In an interview, they said it was Val’s choreography, however he gave them the freedom to change anything they needed to. They (Jenna and Allen) pulled it together in 3 days. It sounds like it was Allen training her.

One of the things I love is you can watch from the dancer point of view. I can watch from a social perspective. I like the people who are trying and enjoyable more than I do really good technique. If they have to over come issues like no dance experience or acting experience or even athletic back ground and still try to actually do the true dance, I like them. I do enjoy the good dances but I like the growth and connections more.

I’m so glad you acknowledged Connor’s improvement. It really seems like he gets criticized so hard by professionals when it’s supposed to be about growth and fun. For someone with no dance experience and truly working hard, he deserves at least that acknowledgement. I think people forget this is not a real ball room competition! If he showed up at one of those, sure, rip him apart lol.

It’s always the OG pros choreo when another pro needs to step in! However, Alan was her exclusive coach once the suspension kicked in. This was the first time I liked a Jenna dance. Alan’s center of gravity is his partner; Val’s center of gravity is the camera. I think Jenna’s scores would be higher if she had Alan from the beginning of the season.

I agree with pretty much everything. I really want Ezra to win, but him Amber and Jenna are really interchangeable at this point. I liked Jenna with Alan a little bit more though 🤷🏻♀️
