@nextchapterparenting: i've thought about that dinner every day since. it was one joke and everybody laughed, including my dad, who made the same one about me 30 years ago. my son didn't argue. he went upstairs and handled it alone, behind a locked door, with my razor. that's the part that got me. he didn't think he could ask. he knows now. ❤️‍🩹
