I give 3oz every 3-4 hrs and give a pacifier after she eats so she gets all the milk settled cuz if I take a bottle away immediately after 3 ounce she's gonna scream that she wants more, but she just hasn't let her milk settle. After the pacifier she's out.

I wish I knew this my first time around as a first time nursing mama. This second time I’m literally EBF, if I feel full still I’ll pump, but I know I don’t have to. He’s getting enough from me no matter what, the pump is for my comfortability

My 4 month old has consistently taken 6 ounce bottles for a few months now. Paced feeding, slow flow evenflo wide neck bottle. It’s not forced on him.. he wanted more after offering a lower amount.

hi! my 9 month old sleeps through the night and has for a long time (unicorn baby I know). she sleeps from 730pm-630am usually. do i still only offer 5oz of bm when she wakes up in the morning??? because an ounce to ounce and a half per hour is a lot after an 11 hour stretch

yes. my baby is breast milk only through bottle and some feeds he takes 2oz and some feeds he eats 4-5. never the same amount per bottle.

My son wants more! I nurse him on demand when I’m home, but when I’m at school/work/clinical he has 5oz bottles because he was still hungry after 4, then at night we started giving him 7 because he was still hungry after 5. Am I doing something wrong??

Four years ago I said this on a breast-feeding Facebook page that my six month old only takes 3 ounces every 2 hours and people literally got so upset saying I was starving my baby😅 my baby had rolls on top of rolls

Okay question - what if you’re using your frozen stash? Like if the milk is some you collected at 3 weeks but now they’re 9 weeks? That milk wasn’t designed for their 9 week needs. Does that make sense?

Thank you for this. I was told mine needed more but he didn’t want it. He’s gaining weight so I wasn’t too worried but as a ftm I felt like I was failing

I take mine to a breastfeeding group and they weight him before and after eating. he did take 6 oz once and then like 5.5 another time. straight from the tap lol

And that's why my supply dipped. I was told she needs to increase her oz when I was only pumping 4-5oz. I was stressed out because of that 😭

My baby will only drink 4oz of breast or formula 🫠 when I pump 6 oz he stops drinking and spits the bottle out [Teary eyed] he’s also 10 percentile so idk what to do.

what if your using stored milk though from let’s say 3 weeks PP for a 3 month old? that milks composition is for a 3 week old so would you use more than the 4 oz cap?
