Nobody knows what they would do in a situation until you are in that situation.

I was abused by a male teacher in high school and men/teenagers would/still say “I wish that was me with a girl teacher” 🤮 meanwhile still live with the trauma

Right ! Don’t do it openly. Teach PREVENTION with examples in private.

what ppl don't think about is when ur 14, 15 at a friends house you dont know who they know so when someone come rolling up your first thought is ohh they must know this person.. there was plenty of times when i was younger when someone came over and i said my parents are not home right now.. my first thought wasn't this person is going to hurt me.. my first thought is, oh, they're looking for my parents. I'll let them know that they can come back later when my parents will be home.

Hiiiiiiiiiiii can I get a reply and I love your story and how you reflect on it to other people because survival is everything and you not being ashamed is so inspiring and I find it so condensing when people try to make something or someone’s story about them they inf to steal their limelight not that the thing that happened to you is a good thing but I love how you didn’t let it run your whole life so people know that is just not who you are you are Kara Robinson chamber

I have a chronic illness that causes constant crushing fatigue and pain. It was caused by exposure to a commercial pesticide. I was a relatively healthy and active person before it happened. It took my health, my ability to function independently and to make a living. I am doing my best to manage it every day and stay positive. No matter what I do though people will always comment something like “if you tried (insert random suggestion) you would feel better!” I’ve been dealing with this condition for 14 years- YES I have tried it! So it’s similar to victim blaming by making it my fault that I got/stay sick. 😑
